Heat SMS Privacy
This Heat-specific SMS module supplements the applicable Privacy Policy. It is not a replacement for the complete corporate or consumer Privacy Policy.
1. Programs covered
Heat is a service operated by OCUS SAS, 43 rue d'Aboukir, 75002 Paris, France. This notice explains the SMS-related purposes of Heat Leads, for restaurant owners interested in Heat, and Heat Discounts, for consumers requesting a participating restaurant's discount code.
These are separate programs. Information collected for one program does not, by itself, give permission to send marketing messages under the other.
2. Shared SMS purposes and choices
When you provide your phone number and consent to receive messages for a Heat program, the number is used for the SMS purposes described for that program. SMS delivery providers process the information needed to deliver those messages.
Reply STOP to opt out of messages from the SMS program. Reply HELP for assistance or contact viral@ocus.com with questions about the SMS program. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency is described in the applicable program section.
No mobile information, including your phone number and SMS opt-in or consent status, will be sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. This restriction applies notwithstanding any broader sharing provision in the applicable Privacy Policy.

3. Heat Leads: restaurant owners
The optional SMS marketing consent for Heat Leads covers commercial communications about Heat: up to two marketing follow-up messages, plus replies to your messages.
The SMS consent option is unchecked by default. This consent does not cover appointment reminders or appointment-related communications.
4. Heat Discounts: consumers
Heat Discounts uses your phone number to send one automated welcome message containing the discount code you requested and, with your consent, recurring marketing offers from the restaurant you selected.
Your email address, phone number and discount code may be shared with the selected restaurant's point-of-sale system solely to redeem the discount.
Recurring offer frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help.
Your SMS consent is not shared with restaurants. The exception is sharing with SMS delivery providers for the purpose of delivering the program's messages. Sharing information for discount redemption does not transfer your SMS consent to a restaurant or authorize the restaurant to use it for separate marketing.
